Pointy Pumps!

It's that time of year to put away the flip-flops, and step
into something new. The shoes to own right now are a pair of pointy
high heeled pumps!
But do you know where that pointy trend started? Pointed
shoes were introduced to England by Polish nobility in the 1300s. The
shoes were called "crackowes" after Krakow, Poland.
The lengths of shoes were actually assigned to
different classes and the longer the toe of the shoe, the higher the
status of the man. Commoners could wear toes up to 6 inches while those
rich royals wore shoes a full 2 feet in length! Ouch!
We all know that the real reason to wear them is they make
your legs look fabulous! Which never hurt anyone!

- E is for Earth Tones - burnt orange, ochre

- R is for Respectable
Hemlines - skirt lengths are
falling again to the new calf-length hemline and even maxi's.
- S is for Skirt Suit - move aside pant suit
and make room for the skirt suit. Choose between pencil and full
skirts!
- T is for Trousers - Go low and loose or
high and wide-legged. Slouchy styles will rival skinnies this
season.
- U is for Up on Top - Hats are back! Try full
