Eve's passion for fashion was cultivated early on. A New York native, she graduated from Parsons School of Design with a degree in fashion design and further pursued her studies in psychology at the New School. As a fashion designer in the New York fashion industry, she traveled extensively, eventually settling in San Francisco with Esprit Inc., where she oversaw design and production of her designs across Asia.
In 1980, Eve's love for Asia led her to make Hong Kong her permanent home. For over thirteen years, she served as the Director of Design for one of Hong Kong’s most prominent entrepreneurs, Allan Zeman. Her role kept her constantly on the move, jetting across the globe to fulfill her responsibilities.
Eve's talents as a teacher were recognized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she was invited to lecture in Fashion Design. Additionally, she honed her fashion retailing skills as the Chief Fashion Designer for Cozzi International, a part of the Fairton/Max Mara group. Her work encompassed various aspects of fashion retail, including fashion shows, photo shoots, store displays, image promotion, and fashion writing.
Eve's expertise has garnered media attention, establishing her as a respected fashion expert. She shared her insights as a Glamour Guru in a weekly column for the South China Morning Post for a decade. She has also made appearances on RTHK radio programs such as Back Chat and Lunchbeat, where she discussed the latest trends and fashion topics.
Creativity runs in Eve's family. Her father, Arthur Rothstein, was a renowned American photographer, and her mother, Grace Rothstein, also had a successful career in photography.
