It's hot out there and most of us want to wear lighter, brighter colours during the Summer months. Of course, it depends on which colour dominant category you fall into.
Wearing the wrong colours will make you look tired so it is important to get your colours right. When you wear your most flattering colours you will look younger and brighter.
Sometimes it can be hard to change things up whilst still ensuring you stay true to the guidelines for your dominant colour palette.
Have a look at the main dominant colour palettes below to see what you are and then follow our suggestions.
We have some ideas on how you can wear your colours to give a fresher feel, whatever your dominant colour category may be…

Light Palette
If you’re LIGHT like actress Cate Blanchett then this is the season you’ll find it easiest to wear your colours! Mix shades like mint, baby blue and pastel pink for a clean, fresh look.
Lighter blue denims will look great on you and they are just so easy for mix and matching.

If you’re DEEP like Amal Clooney or Lucy Liu, try to balance out the dark, rich shades in your palette with pops of vibrant colour. A bright bag can work perfectly.
Dark navy with a splash of Primrose or Pewter combined with Turquoise will keep your look bright and fun.
Warm Palette
If you’re WARM like singer Emma Stone or Sammi Cheng then medium depth colours with a yellow undertone work well for you. If you aren't sure whether warm colours look good on you, try choosing between gold and silver jewellery.
Yellow is a big trend for Summer 2017. Why not reach for Daffodil this season to match the Summer sun!

If you’re COOL like Helen Mirren or Fan Bing Bing Light Aqua and Duck Egg are gorgeous shades to wear during warmer months. Combine them with Cassis or Charcoal to give you some contrast.
Clear Palette
If you’re CLEAR like the Duchess of Cambridge then Primrose Yellow is a gorgeous, sunny colour and looks stunning worn with Navy and White.

If you’re SOFT like Jennifer Aniston, Blake Lively or Michele Li try wearing a fresh green shade like Verbena or teal with a subtle neutral shade from your palette to welcome the Summer sun.
